well done! i sometimes don't know what I am doing with the hard programmes I use! but I will learn Smile takes time.

Beleive me I know where your coming from, when I first started my mocks were bad, but has improved dramtically since then, also a tip, if you want a logo to use, go to The TV Room + http://tvmocks.thetvroomplus.com/logos.html Martin has done some excellent work in recreating them. I would recommend Fireworks personally since IMO it's easier because it's vector based.

thanks for your honesty. I have fireworks now! its fab! I hope to spend some time creating better work

thanks.

If you're updating gradually, don't edit your first post because the comments which follow don't make sense and it helps to know how you got to where you are now, make a new post instead.

Seems someone found Dax, doesn't work in context but at least you've upped your game and looks better technically, still a bit of a mish-mash and stuck in 4:3 though.

It looks a tad better however I would recommend you doing your mocks in Widescreen for mocks 2001 onwards, I'd suggest you do them at 426 x 240 or 640 x 360 for 16:9 and for 4:3 640 x 480 or 400 x 300, the Dax font doesn't look quite right on those also there is a thing called safe area, which different TV sets cut of certain parts of the picture to avoid revealing the broadcast black bar data. I will enclose a safe area guide now, and upload some decent fonts:

Safe Area guide (they are transparent PNG so you can easily overlay your mocks with it to check, but be sure to take it off when your about to export):

Be sure to put critical info in the centre sqaure in the guide like this:

Hope this info helps.

Nono, not a new thread! That'll just create clutter, reply with your new mocks in this thread. Also, reinstate the first batch.

It's not bad, very similar to the current package, by the way I'm uploading my collection of Fonts now, and I'll post it in this thread. Smile
