Ive been watching the news on HTV too - Juliet is my fave HTV presenter - everything the usual weekend newsreaders arnt - pleasant, confident, friendly and she smiles

Yes I noticed she said HTV Wales, good on her too! Im fed up of this ITV1 Wales business - Ive watched HTV Wales for the best part of 18 years - since I was about 3 or 4 - and I aint gonna start calling it ITV1 Wales for anyone!

And yes Horseworthy for the GMTV/Lunchtime news tommorow - im glad im in work tommorow so wont be able to join him for the lunchtime news but I may be able to catch the 8.05am GMTV bulletin, just to remind my self how bad he is LOL but an Andrew free Monday morning! YAY


Anyway my money's on Jonathan and Lucy for the 6pm programme tommorow with Ruth Wignell on the weather hopefully. I dont suppose we'll see Juliet for a few days now after her long weekend on the news

And yes I like that cloud ident too - Are Border the only region to use it? On HTV we had a Jonathan and Lucy ident before Soccer Sunday and Coast to Coast!

It's used every Sunday afternoon on Border Scotland [not England], but I've never seen it anywhere else. And it's not as if Wales have any other choice but to use Jonathan & Lucy before regional programmes -- there are no other ones!

I've a horrible feeling next week's Coast To Coast will be on Anglesey . Shan't be watching then.

Either way, the only northern town I like is Llandudno. I preferred The Shape of Wales with Nicola as well.

Who is the bloke who is presenting Coast to Coast? And why dont you like Anglesey? Ive been there twice - I went to that place with the longest name Llanfairpwll-gogogoch - dont ask me to say the whole thing LOL

Anyway apart from HTV News and the Soccer Special on Tuesday night there are no other regional programmes until Wiggy on Thursday afternoon.

And I think we should write to HTV and insist they make a few more celeb idents for Wales - Juliet Piper would look great on one with Tara and then there's Wiggy and also Lee and Jo Kiernan from Waterfront. Oh and Steve from Pop Factory could have one just for being drop dead gorg!

Oh and how about Cath Evan Williams, Nosworthy and Mr Jones? Um Maybe not as they might crack the screen!

Do you expect Presenters to wear daffs over the weekend, as you do poppies?

What was Juliet's maiden name? Was she on HTV before she was married?

And in reply to Jez, I have always hated Anglesey, and North Wales for that matter. In fact anywhere north of Brecon is a safe bet to be on the blacklist. Apologies to anyone who may live in the north, but hey I'm sure you're a lovely person, I just don't like the place. Cept Llandudno -- that place is cool, even if the average age in the daytime is 103.

All Anglesey has is rain, dodgy caravans for Northwesterners, a wool museum, a butterfly farm, and posters every 100 yards shouting "NO TO THE INCINERATOR!!"

I forget who presents Coast To Coast -- I just hope Dee Doody is busy making a second series of Birdwatcher -- compelling viewing, I think you'll find..

Juliet is married! *cries* - I didnt know she was - AFAIK she had always been Juliet Piper on HTV News. A good looking girl like her was bound to be taken anyway.lol

You know, I'm not so into being jealous that Andrew, Richard and Stuart might be married.. Call me mad, but I'm just not jealous. Yeah Juliet got married and had a baby. I thought her maiden name must be Piper, since The Ferret site said she was only married a year ago. I'm sure I saw his name being Piper somewhere..

Oh actually I think her first husband's name was Piper. I saw it on Martin Philip's Current Buns site.

She's married to someone called Wyn now, but that picture has a Nicky Piper in it with her.

And nice to see the rare clock on S4C~. LOL, but only S4C~ would have the news at 10:46:30. Hmm, there's running to time for you Côr Cymru I think made them over-run.

LOL im certainly not jealous if Mcteer, Horseworthy and Andrew Jones may be married - I just feel sorry for their partners - poor cows thats all I can say.

I didnt know she had a baby either? Does Lucy Cohen any children? I know Jonathan does! If Lucy had to take time off for maturnity leave I think we would get Juliet most nights at 8pm which would keep me happy!

Yeah, strange that Ruth changed her name, perhaps she doesn't like Dodsworth much. Women in the tv industry seldom seem to change their names when they get married, to keep their independent career and established name I guess. As for Catherine Zeta Evan Douglas Jones Williams -- she has issues. Perhaps that was the result of a heated row.

Yes I did mean 6pm but of course I would love to see Juliet at 6pm, 7pm 8pm etc if I could lol Maybe cos she has a child she wants to have the same name as her child? - it is easier sometimes.
