What if...

Any thoughts on this design? Less simple, but I think the new ITV design is too simple and lacks distinctiveness. The itv wordmark in lowercase still dominates, and is, of course, in blue. However, the font used to add the sub-brand, eg itv one also has a sense of character rather than that of a faceless corporation. I think the itv is quite different to anything else proposed - what d'y'all reckon?

Your right there, but there is something missing from these I think, not sure about them 7/10

Technically speaking, the kerning is messy, the colours are very basic and need more consideration. I think the typeface is unpleasant, and the switching between upper and lower case and the kerning variation is odd.

Overall, not good I'm afraid. I'm a little confused about this 'faceless corporation' talk as well. How exactly have you tackled that? Either way, it's hard to call a major TV network a faceless corporation as they are in essence nothing but self presentation. They're TV channels.

To be completely honest, I wouldn't normally make comments on efforts like these - as there's nothing much to talk about - but you seem convinced that you've answered some brief here, and that confuses me somewhat. Do you really think this is an improvement on ITVs logos?
