CITV logo looks better now that you've given it abit of identity.
I always think logos are very risky because you have to have the collective group look whilst having some kind of identity.

Quite agree with BBC London.....CITV Logo looks good now...We will await the idents, good luck

Right here we go with the idents, etc.
ITV One
ITV One's idents would basically show different landmarks across the UK the image will then blur with the itv one logo appearing.

ITV Two
ITV Two will move away from squares and instead use circles. They would animate onscreen as the squares do now.

ITV Three
ITV Three would basically keep the same look as now however at the end of the ident instead of the current itv three logo this one will appear.

ITV Four
And Finally ITV Four which is aimed at males will animate on screen the same way as ITV One's however will show sport, cars etc.

And CITV's will stay the same with my new logo and there will be a presenter every day!!
Tell me what you think!!

Hmm, let's see..
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v308/whitey044/itvone.jpg
That'd vanish into a blur of yellow and blue, make it more prominent or give it a strong background on which to sit on.

Hmph, I've hated ITV3's odd aping of BBC Three's identity for a long time and this brings it home a little more. Not too different from what stands currently but it's not an old brand so just needs a refresh.
Also..
I'm sure the kiddies (and respectve ******* of the form) would be pleased.

I'm wondering why the dot on the 'i' appears and disappears on different incarnations of the logo.
The issue with such bright colours - and this relates to many of the mocks recently - is that you need to consider how the colours will look on a variety of backgrounds. As designer you don't have full control over where to logos appear. They'll be used in TV guides, on magazines, over VT, on Sponsorship sequences and a huge number of other instances - and in a newspaper TV guide you'll most likely be limited to greyscale print capabilites. The colours need to be considered so they maximise their effectiveness on any background.
To overcome this issue, logos are always designed with a colour(s) version, and also in white or black. If your design relies heavily on it's colour to add character and differentiation to a set of channels, then it may not work so well in practical application. That's why most channels will create logos, rather than logotypes. By that I mean a designed image, rather than a simple font selection with an allocated colour.
Seems to be a lot of overlapping letter designs around on this site at the moment. Not a fan, to be honest.
