ITV logos

This is a concept which could work well.

I know they're not perfect, but how could I improve?

More uniform colouring, it's all over the place right now.

They're like the old ones. Bit plain in my opinion, but good effort

They are a nice set of logos but nice isnt really good enough anymore.

But they have inspired me to have a go at recreating what the new ITV logo might look like.

I don't think it will be too far different from the current logo but just a slight change and the odd tweak here and there! Imagine how much money they will have to waste introducing new logos across the whole of ITV! And because of this money factor I don't see there being much of a change!

Therefore I have come up with this:-

Just a few tweaks to the current logo but grouped together more and forming more of a logo rather than three arial characters stuck in a box. When I'm happy with the logo I will then put some effects and make it 3d to produce some idents.

it is just a conceptual logo rather a slick photoshopped 3-d one atm!

I like the idea that you are using the old logo as a source of ideas , which is the way forward for ITV, but I don't think the colour scheme looks quite right - and the fonts you use look a little too simular to what's already on offer

I was actually being serious. Its a nice progression from the current logo.

I have already mentioned this in another thread, but I don't think itv can move away from the blue/yellow because of the expense of firstly changing all their buildings* and secondly re-vamping their brand to such an extent.

(* itv reclad the former Carlton Westcountry building in Plymouth from the former "orange with star symbol" to blue/yellow only 2 years ago - it must have cost a fortune - I presume they have made similar changes elsewhere in the country - or are we unique in having a disgusting and vibrantly coloured monstrosity in our city - hehe! )

Anything new we see in September will only be in presentational terms using the current logo. I do like the one shown above, which merges the letters together, but that wouldn't work with the corporate 4-squares idea.

I've said it before. If they do relaunch it probably won't have the blue and yellow. The press release said that they would drop the blue and yellow.
