And it's actually shown in the Granada region as well sometimes -- so viewers from Macclesfield and Barrow-in-Furness can take an interest in what the Assembly is promoting.. I liked the mock "If you watch with me/Os wela di gyda fi" trails on S4C~ though, for 4 Trac, they made me laugh -- the blank expression on the guy's face throughout..
The most annoying advert was, and still is, those bloody Lulu cowing Swalec Doorstep bloody Challenge ones... "Hi.... Lulu here, show us your gas bill...... Awwwww, ain't that a shame..."

I didn't watch any GMTV this morning, but due to work arrangements I'm at home and *awake* in the daytime[] -- I don't usually do daylight, and I've been awake since Sunday afternoon! Anyway, I may see my first lunchtime HTV bulletin in I don't know how many months. Perhaps that will answer whether I *sadly* missed out a day of Andrew this morning. Never fear, I shall have the pleasure of his company once again on Wednesday, back to normal. Unless he had the kindness to take a fortnight off.. I could just switch to another region, just cos I can. I reckon Central News GMTV bulletins look lots nicer than the HTV News -- but hey, a new look for HTV News soon [I hope].
Meanwhile.. On S4C~ at the moment they're trailing 'St David's Week' -- the first time I've known them to do that I think. There are special trails of programmes during the week, with some sort of trail bumper at the end, ending in 'St David's Week', in red. One of the programmes has that guy that's in *everything* in Welsh. If I see the trail bumper again, I'll try to post it up.
No doubt March 1st will see the return of the special St Davids ident. Last year, it was the Magic Hat ident, adapted to make daffodils sprout up when the magic wand is waved and the mini explosion happens. Which was nice. Wonder if it'll be a new one this year, or will they bring that one out again?
Go on ITV1 Wales, you know you want to 'Welshify' the idents for St David's Day.. Stick a leek in Fern Britton's boa, or put Cilla in a Welsh hat.. You know it makes sense.
I was hoping HTV, sorry ITV1 Wales would opt out of the Saturday night schedule on March1st for maybe an hour as its St David's Day. But they are showing 2 program's on Friday night instead one of which I believe is Barry Welsh.
I wonder who will do the news this Saturday on St Davids Day as they will have to wear a daffodil. And I bet whoever does the weather wont wear one as the same presenter for Central does our weather. As annoying as Dillwyn was on the weather at least he wore his daff on St Davids Day lol
