Hi all!

I haven't posted anything here for quite a while due to being busy with university and stuff but as it's the easter holidays I've had some spare time to create the following...

Arrow Logo for use on screen and promotional materials

Arrow Examples of uses of the logo on screen as part of trailers/idents

I may develop these ideas further if these initial designs are warmly received, and hopefully I'll be able to find the time to post some more of my work here again from now on.

Liking this one, mate!

Try keeping inline with the EBU HD ready logo. Use a font like Swiss and make it italic. Other than that, nice!

Moderately acceptable, perhaps they could be adapted for other Sky Channels. Sky News perhaps.

Nice

ntl: have buggered up their web servers again! So I've moved the images over to Flickr.

Thanks for all the positive comments so far everyone, hopefully I'll be able to add to these designs in a couple of days once I've got my current assignment out of the way! Stay tuned!

Really nice mocks...

Maybe you should try using the all uppercase SKY logo, to tie in with the rest of the Sky channels at present...

Also, what with High-def television a relatively new thing, aren't all of the capable televisions 16:9 now, and if so, doesn't that make the safe areas somewhat redundant (well done for using them though!!)

All HDTV's are widescreen. In fact, widescreen is part of the HDTV specs. We only took up half of HDTV in other words. We took up the wide bit but we didn't take up the HD bit.

Thought so!

I can just imagine Sky coming up with something really cheesey, like "Sky-Definition Television", or "Sky-Def". Laughing
