Sky News: Double Decked Studio

After hearing about the rumours that Sky News will be getting a two-floor news studio, i wanted to create one. So here it is.
note, the lights, particualry wouldnt be so dark, i did add in a light over the desk, but it caused some of the studio some problems.

THis wide would be used at the start when one presenter is upstairs (ie SN Today), otherwise a zoom into the desk.

IGNORE THE CRAP LIGHTING!! the centre of the desk. the walls showing an image of a globe would animate and possibly have some headline pictures on it.

The new-newswall. for an in-depth report of anaylists (sp), the presenter would start at the end (right) and move towards the front. A bit like ITV News

Not sure about the purple but otherwise it is much better than the current set.

A great idea, love the over night shot, it works really well as said before the purple doesn't work but apart from that very good

I dont like the purple but otherwisI like the double deck view

it's too dark and dingy

It's pretty good, again not sure about the purple, and what it needs is a newsroom (i.e. desks!) but aside from that there's some nice ideas there.

I can imagine the background images and lighting layering over each other on this one. It'd look good, but expensive with all the screens!

It's a bit too small, you need to think on a much bigger, grander scale. I also think there should be reference to the newsroom, it makes you feel part of the news.

@weatherman: Your pics are not working on my pc - do you know why or are there other people having trouble with the pics?

Maybe because this thread is half a month old, and you've dragged it up.
