BBC Radio Berkshire, last night were talking about how someone had ripped their jeans in the crash, but now the coverage on BBC Radio Berksire is brilliant. They have a slow song every few minutes.

To be fair I thought Radio Berkshire were brilliant last night, kept going till almost midnight, by which time there really was nothing more to say, and did a good job this morning too (an hour-long special from the scene and half-hourly bulletins).

My only complaint was it took them until 8pm to start the programme, but there could have been lots of reasons for that.

Going slightly off topic, when the Queen Mum died, network radio programing started at 6pm, with WM, including Shropshire, H&W & Stoke, took over at 7pm, until 10pm, then back to network until the following morning.

The only thing I could think for the delay then, that the various senior presenters called in(Doolan, Wadsworth etc), had other plans, which had to be cancelled. From memory, Doolan lived the closest to Pebble Mill, while Waddo has to come from North Warwickshire.

Would this be a similar thing with Berkshire's delay?

Did anyone notice the ITV SKY Epg listing was incorrect?

It listed 'Warner Bros Cartoon', when it was a Mickey Mouse cartoon!(apt for a Mickey Mouse TV station ! Twisted Evil )

The wrong Robin Hood film was listed.

'Prince Of Thieves' was listed(The Costner one), but the Patrick Bergin/Uma Thurman was shown instead!

It's a good job there wasn't a forest incident as well, or ITV would've been seriously f**ked !

I'm sorry, but I strongly disagree.

It's about time the population of this country was not treated as if they were going flip just because of .... The Railway Children.

C'mon, that's just silly. The TV companies are more worried about the complaints they'd get from the moral crusaders than upsetting anyone.

I think sometimes the TV companies go over the top with deleting programmes from the listings.

Also - two of the deaths have been named.

What time?

It was going to be 7.30pm. But it's been cancelled and replaced with a programme about helicopters.

It was meant to be at 7.30 and was called 'When Trains Crash', but they sensibly replaced it with a programme about helicopters.

It was supposed to be on now but it's been pulled.

They're showing Ultimate Combat Helicopters instead.

Great minds, eh? Razz

I don't know why they would want to show ''When trains crash'' anyway.
