ABC TV

Myself and some others have been creating a website that brings ABC up to date. We have them fictionally taking over the Yorkshire region as a seven day service in 1968 (sorry YTV fans).

I don't like them, far too simple.

ABC (in the US) has made considerable headway with simplicity. WBBM in Chicago has revolutionized local TV news with simplistic graphics.

You might be right though, for the 1990s, this would have been considered way to simple. Simply not gaudy enough.

They look a bit 80s to be honest, 3D computer animated idents are easy these days so they look dated IMHO. You'd be better doing something very simple but cleverly laid out - or using photography/film than relying on 3D computer imaging.

Technically very competantly done though, well done.
