Right... lets have a look.
First of all, these are not the originals from PowerPoint, but a dodgy recreation in Publisher. Please let me know what you think.
I know it's all rather crude, especially with the 'free-with-XP' background, but I like the simplicity of the style. The background would be animated with the camera moving to change the view.
This is how it would work:

The sidebar wipes on from the left and the BBC Iraq logo fades in at the same time.

The individual groups of text, ie a time and programme, fade in one by one.

The sidebar now wipes down, the bottom BBC Iraq logo fades and then a new blue colouring fades over the whole image and a BBC Iraq logo appears in the centre of the screen.

The final image. At this stage, the speed of background animation will increase. The idea is that the 'Coming Up' can be used alongside other things, eg weather forecasts, similar to the breakfiller on BBC World so that programmes start exactly on time. Then, when the BBC Iraq logo appears, the announcer will speak and introduce the next programme.
Thoughts?

Not as good as mine, dear.
Keep trying.
I am going to contact that Lambie Nairn wotsit person, see if he will give me a job.
Your pictures say they are from gaydar.co.uk. Are you sure you made them?

Whilst I am thankful that my pictures require greater scruity, I do not see how their being on Gaydar webspace means that they are not of my crafting.
They are hardly likely to tempt all but the most TV-obsessed gay men into bed, are they?
If you must know, and I am not sure you must, I used the space in my private photo album on Gaydar to upload the pictures, and linked it into my post through that, as I do not have webspace that is as easily accessible elsewhere.

PLEASE make more of these! They're killing me!

Obviously the irony of posting that comment under a picture of a city being bombed is entirely lost on you.
However, I'll make another one tomorrow if I get time.
