I like your idea, but a lot of the logos are too dated, including the Border chopsticks, UTV and Grampian. The only modern-ish logos are TTTV and Carlton.

But i'm not hammering your idea, I like it a lot.


i agree but I also think Granada, Channel, Meridian & Yorkshire work too.

About your logo mocks, i think they are very good!

The only one that dosen't really work for me is the LWT one. The rest of them are fantastic though.

What I mean is instead of using:
1) Current ITV Colours
2) Curent ITV font

Mock up (as you did with the Thames one) a new itv logo - ie new colours, new font, possibly even new shape - I like the idea of the regional logo on each mock although the STV one does look a bit out I like the idea as a whole - but maybe you could try a whole NEW itv look rather than an adaptation of the current one - your Thames was a fantastic mock - It would have been good if all mocks had been this way - BRAND NEW - a MOCK DESIGN not an adaptation.

Clearer?

Sorry, but this is virtually unreadable - imagine looking at this on a tv screen from the other side of the room, the lettering doesn't stand out at all. It would at least be better if you used a lighter text colour.

And the bridge doesn't look enough like the bridge, just a blob of fuzz.

Quite like the concept behind the regional logos, but they should be consistent - I feel that having the logos reversed out of yellow is better as they stand out from the itv text - see how much better the Granada logo stands out compared to say the Grampian one.

Just my thoughts!

I have took what you have said on board topov and had a go at changing the logo. This time the word Thames is lighter and the small motif on the side is the image from the animation with a reflection too! I hope it's better.
