Thames 2004 & ITV Regions

I've created a logo for Thames TV if they were still broadcasting in 2004. I am working on some animations, I will post them as soon as I'm done.

Let me know what you think. I've kept a hint of a reflection and used a stylised image of tower bridge.

ITV have dropped the one and reinstated regional logos onto the ITV logo similar to the 1989 attempt. For regions like HTV and Westcountry a map of the region was used as the logo wasn't suitable. The LWT logo is a remake of the London Weekend river, dropping the T.

I like the itv logo it intergrats the regional company logo and the itv branding,also I like the thames logo as well, but is there any up to date ones?

Heres an animated Thames 2004 Ident. I took the idea from Mr-Stabby, I hope you don't mind. For the purpose of the mock, TV-am still exists and I have redone their start-up in widescreen.

I bloody love that animation to death. can you give me any hints on creating something like that, 'cause I am a novice, and I really want to create mocks.

Oh, erm, the ITV Logo mocks, I know some logos you can add to them instead of the sections of the UK

EHHHH? ITV GRAMPIAN???

Since when has Grampian left SMG - and if you are going to annoy all of us scots by doing an 'ITV GRAMPIAN' mock, at least be sensible enough to do an 'ITV SCOTTISH' mock - if these can be called a mock - all you have done is used the itv logo and typed places underneath - wow!

I love mockers and mocking but people who do this just infuriate me - why not have mocked up a new itv logo for your mocked regions.

I like the thames one (especially the STV colour scheme) - I like the embedded look of the bridge - very nice. Havent had a chance to look at the ident but if your thames mock is anythign to go by then it should be pretty good.

Grampian haven't left SMG, but since when did mocks have to reflect real life. It's a MOCK and therefore not real and so it doesn't matter what state Grampian is in. Annoy all you Scots (capital S btw)? If you read some posts in the TV Forum you'll see that quite a few Scots have said that the SMG regions would probably be better off joining ITV Plc.

I had actually done a STV mock with the old STV thistle but I forgot to include it in the montage type thing above. The typed place names underneath weren't actually part of the mock, they are just so you know what region is what (maybe I should have explained that first).



That sentence is incoherant. It means nothing. I will answer the question when you have cleared up what you actually mean.

The Scottish Logo doesn't look right.

Yes it looks like Bertie Bassett's arms are awfully low.

I like your idea, but a lot of the logos are too dated, including the Border chopsticks, UTV and Grampian. The only modern-ish logos are TTTV and Carlton.

But i'm not hammering your idea, I like it a lot.
