Nicky S, so you're a BBC insider, that's great! It really is, but please what is the point in posting posts that are simply there to tease. You've made more than 4 posts regarding this subject and in each you drop a few more clues. This is not a forum where members are invited to play guessing games, so please if you know something, just tell us. I'm sorry to have a go, but it is quite annoying.

I don't think you're in any position to dictate what Nicky does or does not say on this board.

There are many 'insiders' here, and if you and others give off attitudes like this, we will stop posting - it's as simple as that.

In addition to Uncle Bruce's comments, comments I often disagree with, you are lucky NickyS has given any clues at all, let alone registered on this site for your titilation.

Well I could just not bother posting at all - but I always thinks it's better to tip off people with what I can say.

Yes, the guy has a point there; besides, he used to share his bbc news mp3 files and then people started to share them without his knowledge, he could end up being in trouble because of that.

The floods are affecting a number of studio's and I understand it is quite serious in Newsnight's one. Luckily there is a news studio that isn't on the ground floor that Newsnight can use ... will of course look different. Also imagine trying to do lots of guests on the World set - that wouldn't work would it.

Couldn't they just stand on the desks? That would be a new way to present news as standing on the floor is sooo last year.

What about the studio in westminster?; I remember it has been used before as a backup studio.

I guess we are talking about the BBC Three news set then?

So could we see Dermot and Natasha in the N24 studio tomorrow? They haven't presented in the new set yet have they?

Or will it be the nationals or world even?

As Nicky said, I'd count BBC World out - you can hardly get a hamster as a guest on that set!

I have no inside knowledge but there is one set which does nothing much after 7.30. Just the odd minute here and there.

Westminster is more of less closed as Parliament is on Holiday

At least Nicky's hints are a bit cryptic. You need to brush up on that bit, Marcus!

Well I'm only guessing, seeing as I'm sitting at home. More worried by the hoards of Police I saw stopping anyone heading towards West London. It's gridlock out there

I was fairly confident that Wood Lane, past TVC, would be clear by now, but it's still nose to tail, and virtually stationary.

On the live thing they just did, they had Sky News on display in full screen on one of the plasma screens in newsroom.

Why do they do this? Confused

Because it's a source. Might be a rival source, but it's still a source. Presumably someone in the newsroom was keeping tabs on Sky News.
