I agree James. Because I have now finished my A Levels I can now see more of the One O Clock News and in comparison to the Six and Ten the One is becoming my favourite bulletin. Although they mostly cover the same stories I prefer the one o clock news because I think Anna Ford is great. They have more interesting stories in the second half and theres sometimes a bit of banter with the weather presenter
i.e. today following a report on Sport Relief Anna introduced the weather with "Although he doesnt have a red sock he does have a red tie, its Michael Fish". To which Fish replied "OOOOOO ANNA" (In the style of the Fast Show".
I rest my case

I don'tr think BBC World will be changing their graphics very soon, as they have the orange globe on the BBC World ident, the rendered news titles, the business and sport stings, the break stings, the end titles and the breakfiller.
So to summarise, if you want to see the orange globe, watch BBC World!

Well, either the BBC are killing off presenters or they seem to be moving/retiring. e.g.
Nicholas Witchell, Sue Lawley, Michael Buerk, Peter Sissons, Andrew Harvey, the late Jill Dando (although that was neither the fault of the BBC nor Ms Dando), Martyn Lewis, Moira Stuart (Shoved on Breakfast), Jon Sopel (Shoved on N24 or Newsnight) and probably countless others.
They're replacing them with younger and more inexperienced/smug/egotastical newsreaders. Why?

Of your list, the majority are still around the BBC (with obvious exceptions) or have retired from newsreading. As for being "shoved" on Breakfast- I think it's worth pointing out that breakfast is a major role at BBC news. Sopel and Sissons are on News 24- the BBC's flagship 24 hour news channel. Who are these younger, inexperienced, smug, egotastical lot? Huw Edwards?- he's hardly young.
