24 even pushed back an hour on Sky One tonight - didn't have to set the video after all!

Well that decision ended up a waste of time.

First of all, looking beyond the farcically biased and pathetic analysers on the BBC, I have to admit that England were very very very very unlucky tonight. I'm one of the many people up here who will admit I wasn't supporting England, but I wouldn't have wished that on you.

On a TV theme - the BBC has been pathetic again. They've already got the "We wuz robbed" line going. Ian Wright is a moron - if you'd picked a random England fan out of the stands he'd be more insightful and impartial than this cretin. The other two have been moronic. 1966 was mentioned after precisely one minute, and the Rugby World Cup came up before the game even started. David Beckham has instantly been nominated at scapegoat, despite them all praising him throughout.

I will dish out praise however to British Eurosport. It's inevitable that you're going to be biased under these circumstances, but the team over there did the best job possible trying to be fair throughout the game, analysed it well, and didn't go off on random stories like Motson. They stuck to the game, praised both teams when it was appropriate, and despite not being there and having a far smaller budget. They were great, and I just wish those up here who complain about English commentators had been listening to them tonight.

I do think the England goal was a foul. Don't all shout at once, I thought it was a marginal decision, and it's my opinion - it's not necessarily right. But that doesn't take away from the fact that England battled well tonight, and were very unfortunate to go out.

A shame about the absolute idiot who's currently interviewing Sven though "It looked at times like we were playing 12 men, and one of them was Swiss". Rolling Eyes

Do we think people will shut up now about how England always lose on ITV?

Bloody bollocks. Can't beat watching big England games in a pub, er with alcohol too.

The atmosphere on the bus on the way home summed everything up though... silence. Sad

No, and people will still say how poor ITV coverage is.

lol Laughing . Mind you, it would be hard to out-do how bad the BBC's coverage was tonight.

Has anyone got an e-mail addess for British Eurosport btw? I've been trying their contact us button on the website but it ain't working. Not often you try to tell a TV station that they're good and they don't let you Razz

I'm sorry, but Garth was spot on. That referee cost us the game.

What was wrong with the BBC coverage tonight? I must admit, I couldn't hear much of the commentary in the pub. All looked ok though?
