Hi everyone,

Does anyone know who this news reader is? Someone has told me that they think he's an Ex-BBC Sports presenter? His siganture looks like John something. Sorry I can't be of any more help Rolling Eyes

Should be in Requests, really. But it looks like John Tusa when he had hair. (Only thing is, did they have photography back then?)

I used Google images to find "John Tusa" and up came this image of him. I can see whatcha mean about the hair Smile

A beautiful grab, that, of Robert Dougal.

It's a clear case of asymmetrical spofflisation, which I seem to remember the BBC favoured in the mid 70s news broadcasts. These days standards are falling, and most BBC News programmes are de-spofflicated, which is a great loss if you ask me.

I actually went off to Dictionary.com and tried to find the meaning of "spofflisation".

By the way, are any of you guys Signed Photo collectors? I am looking for some stuff on my wish list, many of which are news and weather girls, so if anyone wants to sell any of these signed photos just get in touch ...
