On Points West?? There only is a desk, a plasma and the newsroom.

This must be a fairly major change for them to be out of the studio for 10 days. I seem to recall that the move to the corporate look was done in 4-5 days when they went out on location for the main programme and had the bulletins from the newsroom. There also was a handy webcam to monitor the changes on - nothing like that this time though...

Will Points West be presented from a virtual theatre of news? Or maybe they will copy Midlands Today and go for the conservatory look. whatever, it'll probably be a letdown... it's a BBC regional news programme, not much chance of it being radically different really, is there?

They're hardly thespians. A virtual circus would be more apt
Chris Vacher as Ringmaster, Sally Challoner in a leotard on the trapeeze and David Garmston as the clown.
Is Tony Targett still with us ? If so, I nominate him for the lion tamer. He has facial hair we can trim and mould into shape. Who's gonna hold him down ?

A while ago now they had what appeard to be a glass screen like we see on N24 to do a stand up sports report, I guess it was some sort of CSO technique, looked good thou.
I hope Points West doesnt adopt the LDN style of Music, it gets annoying after a while.
