Ooo nice twist for this weeks 'evictions' they may regret choosing Kitten assuming that's who they evict.

Maybe they won't choose anyone! You never know, they could have come round to Kitten's way of thinking by Friday. For a start, making the housemates themselves sit around in a group and select who's going to be evicted (I assume that's the way they're doing it) is so evil that plenty of them won't want to do it.

Oh dear, they've just had to go cap in hand to BB to ask for some bog roll - and they've been given 2 to last them the whole week and told they should have put it on the shopping budget.

Hope they didn't put curry on the shopping list

So the plan for Friday is housemates have one minute to choose the first evictee between them. That person will then go to the diary room and choose the second evictee. They will then "leave" the house and enter the Big Brother bedsit for 5 days where they can monitor events in the house via a plasma screen. They will also have daily dilemmas, such as which housemates get cold showers. On Wednesday they will return to the house after the housemates have completed a task, which will either earn them a mystery reward - or a horrible punishment.

PS: In the bedroom, look at the bunkbed nearest the glass doors. The back of it looks like it could be hiding something - does anyone think a secret door is hiding behind there?

PPS: This is not a BBC News thread!

What do people think of the titles this year. Personally I think the preview ads looked alot better, and although the concept and colour scheme is fine, I do think they need a bit more variation with more shots of the house, plus the volume cranking up a bit on the theme.

Notice this year for the breaks they are using two versions. One similar to BB2 to end each part, and one similar to BB3/4 after each break.

I think the preview ads and general Channel 4 presentation of Big Brother (for their promos etc), are always much better than the actual programme's titles and stings. I find it a bit strange that they are different in the first place (as they are so completely different). I'm not keen on this year's titles - they look to me as if someone has plonked a camera in front of a computer screen running the visualisations in Windows Media Player! I don't like the way the eye animates either. The way it animates in the C4 promos is excellent, and I don't see why they couldn't have done the titles like that too.

This year's BB - great so far, although C4/E4 are playing it down which will only help the show's cause.

When the male contestants' profiles were all shown, I immediately hated them all; I thought they were a bunch of ingratiating, arrogant blokes, but I'm got used to them now.

As for the girls, I've liked all of them since the start, especially Emma and Kitten - probably chosen as the "John Lydon" of the house but an inspired move; resistant, antagonistic and articulate. I love her Smile

I think it's gonna be good this year...
