As we've said before - and for cheeky monkey's benefit - it's not a brooch , it's Arianwen ! Get it right ! It is after all unique , and not only in TV land. Rolling Eyes

Well now I can’t see a minidish so I assume Dai Station gets ntl. I wonder if he gets mithered by them every hour of the day and night as well. And where’s the dragon? There used to be a dragon that lived in the mountain.

HTV seem to have kept their old Carlton pollen graphics with no map -- in that mad bright orange.

Mind you, they’re better than the old YestTodTom air quality school bar graphs with Dilwyn that made no sense. Sulphur dioxide particles are warm and rising, and ozone is tired -- so the forecast is low. What?

Good to see a snippet of the Wales Today titles and then Jamie Owen wish James Fox good luck on BBC3's Eurovision On Location programme. Most excellent...and what fantastic taste...Derek was included as well with some graphics on the screen and he even said "The Outlook is good..."

This is the first step for Derek's worldwide liberation you know.

Also Huw Edwards appeared and spoke a bit of Welsh. How careless of him.

Tut.

Derek wouldn't dream of talking foreign at James -- it'd be as bad as cursing him with witchcraft. And I'm *certain* Derek loves Eurovision. So when he doesn't win, well you know it's all Huw's fault.

More importantly mind you, Derek said this weekend's definitely the one to get out in the fields and spread out any cow muck you've got. I know you wouldn't want to miss your chance.

Well the continuity chap seemed to enjoy Ivor.

He's on every night this week -- one of 2W's better investments. He's even got his own promo bumper thingyo whatsitcalled idontknow.

Did you know -- Ivor was first shown in black and white in 1959 on ITV.

You can write that down if you want.

Sorry , no crayons to hand ( is that a French word - crayon ?) but I should imagine Dai Station is as fed up as the rest of us with the dire produce on offer on the TV channels at the moment. Somebody is trying to get us to accept band - limited ,sorry I mean DIGITAL tv by giving out free set top boxes - this should give some sort of clue as to the amount of money involved/at stake in this enterprise. Personally, as you all know , I think digital tv stinks - as the only "virtue" from the companies point of view is the fact that they can squeeze in a lot of below standard transmissions in the space formerly occupied by one full spec. channel. Not good enough for me , I'm afraid , especially sport - and the degradation is already there for all to see with the digital links from the sports grounds.
I hope the current accountants are still around when the tv cost - cutting kings eventually see their own anus looming in the near distance.

I'd best not press my views on the move to digital too loudly then, Mr Cowboy.

Let's just hope that your depression at the compression is countered when the whole change is complete.
