Just imagine what would have happened if Christine was on the OB today.

It'll be interesting what he says tommorow when he's back in the comfort of the studio

Is there anyone with broadband here who could get some captures from the (cough) regional news website for MPs (cough)

God I feel sorry for poor Duncan, but its the price to pay for doing OB's like that, Granada Reports did one in Burnley on the day that Michael Howard visited and there was some abuse being thrown in the background. Interesting to have watched it though, wouldn't mind seeing captures. Anyone?

Grimsby's not a nice place, believe me.... I feel sorry for Duncan too. It just surprised me in that the priest-man-person looked away and the camera zoomed out, and the man ran to the side with Duncan - who got splattered, I noticed Christine gulp a bit back in the studio. I was surprised Duncan didn't run after / into them to give 'em a good old hiding... Anyway...

The alleged perpetrator in question is currently recovering from a little storm in her brain caused by an old friend......

Wouldn't surprise me!

By the way, doesn't "OB" stand for "Overly Braindead"?

Grimsby? Near Cleethorpes, say no more!

Oh please, let's not overreact. It was a horrible thing to happen to Duncan, but let's not tar the whole population of the town with the same brush. Every town and city has it's rough areas, it just so happens that they were doing an OB in a bad area, populated with loads of unruly yobs.

I can't and won't excuse it but I come from Grimsby and I'm fab.

Look North mentioned 'You Know What' again today (is that all right for you Gavin?) and its current series of maintenance and 'stay greasing' what-nots....

Now then, do I 'fess up' to the number of transmitters I've spotted in my past? Answers on a postcard.....

But are those two statements not mutually exclusive, Squarey?

And that's coming from somebody with relatives in Cleethorpes, by the way!

As a Grimbarian myself, the town does have some less than wonderful areas but certainly no more than any other local places... Hull, Scunthorpe, Doncaster can be just as bad if not worse. Having lived in parts of London, Scotland and Yorkshire- everywhere seems to have rough and dirty districts but it does not mean that the entire town/city is a dump.
p.s Come on you Mariners- what's going on???
