ITV News

Usually Nic Owen is very good at handling things when they go wrong but today even HE struggled! lol

It was great tv, with him not knowing which stories were coming next, which camera to look at and to top it all off when the background disappeared and he turned into a black silhouette!

Also everytime there is an important Parliament speech or meeting I have posted here complaining that ITV News Channel should stay with the live broadcast and point viewers to the fact that the Lunchtime News will be over on ITV1. I still dont understand why ITV News dont operate such a system - giving the viewer the choice!

Thats my biggest niggle with the ITV News Channel atm! Otherwise getting better!

Anyone knows what is the line up this weekend?

I like this e-mail feature on the NC. Felicity Barr/Steve Scott stands up and reads them from the newswall after the 'Your Say' poll closes.

Thankfully the CSO hasn't been used today.

The reason I think Mary is off this week is because she knew Caron Keating and was probably at her funeral today.

LOL - the logo was there earlier and if you look at the last capture closely in the top left hand corner you can see where someone has removed the logo that was there when I posted earlier.

From the inclusion of the ITV1 logo in the capture it would suggest that it came from the ITV Regional News streaming website which is being discussed on another thread here somewhere.

And yes, that logo was there earlier!

I know it is only for this week - but when does Felicity Barr get a meal break? Allowing for rehersals etc she cannot be far away from the studio much between 16:00 and the end of the sports report at around 22:50?
