Blimey. Your family have been on ITV-1 Wales News (what a mouthful!), quite a lot recently!
Your nan was on there a couple of weeks ago, pulling her teeth out with a pair of pliers, was she not!

Did anyone see ITV Wales News tonight? My sister (and my niece) were on there being interviewed by Sam Lloyd (the item between the sport and the weather!)
I hope she got me Sam's autograph

LOL no that wasnt my nan (or my mum as Broadband Cowboy tried to suggest!), my granparents are dead. But I can assure you that *was* definately my sister. I came home from work to be told that HTV were going up to my sister's house to cover some story about a pig that had gone on the loose in their village and they rescused or something and then I saw her, couldnt believe my eyes
Thought they would do a small report or something, didnt know it was going to be a proper LIVE interview
she did very well though I thought, then Sam asked a question to my niece Zoe, who went all shy, well she is only 2.

Well it's *all go* down their way isn't it.
Regrettably I missed this event of major cultural significance, though I hope no shame was brought on your family, such as the obligatory kid trying to eat the microphone. Peanut wouldn't be pleased with that sort of performance.

I swear to God, you must live in some League of Gentlemen type village.
Even more disturbing, is that ITV Wales needed to send a film crew, satellite truck and interview Jez's relatives for an unbelivably trivial story such as an escaped pig!
I had a bonfire last night and put some old Lynx cans on it. When they exploded, it set my compost heap on fire. If anything like that happens in future, I shall expect ITV Wales to come screeching up my driveway within minutes to cover this event.

I dont actually live there, I live about 8 miles away in Neath Port Talbot
The reason that HTV News got involved was because the story was covered by our local paper (the Evening Post) and apparently they got in touch HTV, Sam Lloyd then left a message on my sister's mobile cos she was at work, and she rang hback and asked if they could come up this afternoon to cover the story and take some pictures etc, but cos she was working she said they would have to come up after 5pm, so they arrived there at about 5.15pm and they asked her if she was OK with doing a live interview. The storyline may be trivial but it was the final story which are normally quite light hearted, the reason they covered it was because 2 pigs were discovered on the loose in the village and my sister's boyfriend and some other bloke caught one of them and because my sister's boyfriend owns a lot of land around by their house they took it there, apparently the other pig might be coming there tommorow too, my sister has to ring Sam tommorow as she wants to be updated with the story, so they might well cover it again. Who knows. But I agree with you that the story was trivial, but it isnt often that a close relative goes on TV so im not bothered how trivial it was.
Anyway, they didnt have it on the late news (which was presented by Lucy), obviously *too* trivial, Sam told her it would be so I was expecting it but they obviously had a couple of extra storys to cover (those 2 men killed in Cwmbran for example) so didnt have room for it.

Well it's all gone a bit quiet really -- what with HTV news having been stripped of any personality it once had, and Wales Today still holding back on any changes.
What's happened to their opening headline sequence anyway? It used to be all powerful and told you to listen up.
*cue over-loud music*
Now it's all so quick and muddled and sometimes there's no hello [how rude!]
Anyway, in this quiet spell some kind dear brought a dog in to show everyone and then we all gave it a pat on the head.

What do you think we should do about it TVD ?
Heavily disguise him as an English tourist , drug him and leave him outside his mother's front door ?
