So is that the case for all 'regions', with the exception of Channel?
Well, the South Bank can do what they want to Westcountry, Meridian, London, Anglia, Wales and West, as they play all those out.
Channel get a "slightly soiled" of Meridian.
A clean feed is sent north to Birmingham, then on to Leeds, Glasgow and Belfast.
Have I misunterstood what is meant by a 'clean feed'?
I assumed that meant no ECPs, trailers or idents? But Leeds, for example, normally take these from the network. Is that not what's meant by a 'dirty feed', or would a proper dirty feed include London ads, etc?
Can you think of anything worse than the blue screen of death *in Welsh* ?
I remember once being bored to death in a student union bar by someone who was convinced that it was all just some big conspiracy by Bill Gates and the US against the Welsh that the [^w] and [^y] characters weren't supported by the ascii keyboard -- even ended up writing to them. Apparently it was also offensive to 'national hero', Owain Glyndwr himself.
I know Lucy has been quite swift recently but even she cant read the news headlines in TWO seconds!
At 18:50 (or whenever it is) within the ITV Evening News recap Lucy appeared and started the regional recap before those 'squares' appeared floating around the world - quite similar to the opening titles of the ITV Evening News and stayed for about 20 seconds!
Breath-taking shots of the Brecon Beacons on last night's "Beacons" program on ITV1Wales. --- Shame the program was spoilt when Philip Madoc's voice-over the end credits was oblitarated by the playing of the continuity announcer's voice at the same time!!!
Well after I defended it the other week, the WT window this evening blatantly wasn't live -- it was on some sort of 2 second loop, it kept jumping backwards regularly.
You could tell this because there appeared to be a fire in the background and the smoke kept going back to where it was and starting again.
So I don't know if any BBC peeps want to give home a quick ring, just in case. Unless the fire was actually last week, that is -- tut, take away the Pierhead clock and they start cheating.

A BREATHTAKING programme! Really well made and some fantastic shots! Shame about the double announcement at the end!
Did you defend it? I didn't see that, or I'd have stepped in
Well it's just I remember a post on here by a certain someone that there were no tapes of the window -- and now you *know* how anxious I get if I'm misled.
Seagulls, spiders, dragonflies -- these are the stars of the programme. But no, if the windscreen wiper doesn't get them, they'll just tape over them. How distressing.
