My most humble apologies to Mr Draig and all collegues for managing to miss the Pancake Parade.

Due to technical difficulties, beyond my control, I was heavily involved in other matters today.

*well I mean really*

Actually, in fairness I felt far too pokey to entertain any batter-based products yesterday night -- but rumour has it, young Jez had a pancake spectacular of his own and didn't invite us! Can you believe this.

Although for some reason they all had little faces drawn on them with jam and soft fruit, and were then cut up into pieces in some sort of pancake voodoo doll slash-fest. Tut, it all gets so unpleasant very quickly with some people doesn't it.

Continuing on from the theme of food present in this thread, one should not miss tonight's show on BBC-2W

Quote:
20:30h I Love Wales
The series that doesn't take Wales for granted. Iolo Williams gets a taste for food around Wales - not a Welsh cake in sight.

And for fans of Sara Edwards, of whom there are numerous amongst the readers of this thread, there is a opportunity to learn more about the former counties of the principality.

Quote:
21:45 h Sara Edwards' County Set
Sara Edwards continues her travels around Wales, meeting up with the characters that bring our old counties to life in her County Set. Today she meets up with more people from Brecon.

This post from young Corin confirms one of my earlier statements somewhere else that all that ever seems to be on 2W is programmes on the countryside, boats or Iolo Williams. It really is astounding.

Nice little trail just then on BBC Wales though with various presenters commenting on who they want to win Right Up Your Street. Can't say I've even watched it, mind you.

And there are yet more programmes with Sarra Elgan on S4C soon too with more Welsh singing contests, and of course Janet Street-Porter in that Welsh Big Brother thingyo.

And so the Osmonds are Welsh then ...can it really get any worse?
