royal visit to ITN back in September 2001 - it's a good thing the Queen wasn't actually being filmed in the CSO, wearing a green dress like that
I remember. Trevor McDonald met the Queen and Prince Pip. Queen had a chat with Dermot Murnaghan. Pip and Queen saw Rachel McTavish, I think, presenting the ITN News Channel off-screen. They met John Suchet before the ITV Lunchtime News and Queen saw John Suchet doing the headlines on ITV News at the time
Funny thing happened on Sky News today - nothing.
Breaking News about some police officer. ITV News had it at 11.05am, BBC had it at 11.14am .. it tells you that ITV News is first with news stories which is breaking. Sky have covered it at 11.33am

No, it tells you that ITV News was first to break that particular shock.
And (shock! horror!) all the 24 hour news channels manage to break some news stories before others at different times...

Is the old itv news tune still libary music? if not has anyone got a copy.
is the new itv news tune libary music? if not has anyone got a copy of the end music.
Does anyone know where I can find pictures of itn/ itv news room/ studio or anything to do with itn headquarters. I have looked on google and ask jeeves they have some but not a lot also when made bigger quality is rubbish.
I like the way ITV News Channel distinguishes itself from the dull BBC News 24 and the boring Sky News. Examples like, when it goes to the break or comes from the break, Andrew Harvey yesterday taking his microphone off when they go to break and Lucy Alexander tiding her hair up at 11am this morning on the brilliant "Live with Alastair Stewart" show
Do you really think those examples are deliberate to make the ITV News channel be different from the others?
A presenter taking their mic off while still in-vision is bad dicipline and lazy.
Dog, for God's sake, smile. Virtually everything I read from you is a negative or phrased in such a way that it screams "Bad day". Surly is the buzz word. Taking a mic off in vision isn't "bad discipline".

I sit here in disbelief sometimes on how ultra-fanatic some of the coments on this forum are. I mean, does it really matter if Presenter A is on for 15 minutes less on Monday than Tuesday? You tell me.
And for someone to claim that ITV News 'has the edge' over the others because Presenter B took off his mic is just sheer ****.

I don't really think you should take that poster seriously.
If you don't like some of the "ultra-fanatic" comments on this forum, then there is no need to respond.
