Probally a load of bored old people complained that it made them dizzy, same with the BBC One - One to watch promo, it was shown once and I loved it, but because it was before the watershed and showed someone falling of a cliff it got removed! It was really good too.. sigh.

Good question. Just another rumour I guess!
Best thread I could think to put this really - has anyone seen http://freespace.virgin.net/tim.bourne/flow.doc ? It's a dissertation written a while ago but quite interesting, especially the interview with a BBC Presentation Operator (p49-) For example, did you know an animation could only be shown inbetween trails for programmes on the same channel?!
