ITV Wales do have a preview with Mark and Mary, at about 6.20pm

I had a chance to see some of ITV West and Westcountry news tonight as well as Wales - I agree they all look simular to the old looks, just blue! I didnt have a chance to look at West/westcountry last night as I was glued to ITV Wales Laughing

I think the smaller studio ITV have for late bulletins and Andrew's GMTV bulletins looks better now its blue!

Anyway, ITV1 Wales's very own Arfon Wiggy Haines Davies does like his ITV1 Wales regional daytime progs doesnt he! Laughing He has yet another series next week, this time its not gardening history or antiques, it Welsh cuisine in a new series "Tastes of Wales". Its on at 2.30pm Monday-Friday!

It is indeed.

Shall I email Susan Powell and say "Oh, Derek doesn't do the weather like that...." , and "Derek does it differently...."

Or would that not go down well?

Sorry young Jez -- must've missed the preview, I thought HTV were being disobedient. And you can never have too much Wiggy, in my opinion, it's just not possible.

On the whole I’ve noticed most regions haven’t changed much, just made their set blue and added a couple of things, the format is still broadly the same. But, from what I’ve seen and read, most English regions have a preview with Mark and Mary half way through the programme [recorded] -- but unless I’ve missed it, Wales don’t seem to do this. Probably the ‘national’ news thing about it – enough to fit in as it is.

Mark and Mary have appeared on both occassions promoting the ITV News at around 18:15. I dont see much point in it really!

Poor old Ian Lang!

Yes its at about 18.15 or 18.20, not sure of the exact time, I think the point is to try and get people to watch the ITV Evening afterwards.

I know, making him stand out in the rain like that, I like Ian Lang!

I am not having a dig at her presenting abilities but aslong as she doesnt start turning up on Currys and DFS adverts I will be a happy man!

Sending pretty young network women up to Cardiff I’m sure pleases the gallery, but it’s just not the same.

Don't know about the gallery, but there are at least three chaps in presentation who find Elizabeth Saary and Susan Powell very appealing - mmmmm! Cool

I like Sarra too, she is obviously the big thing in terms of presenters in Wales.

I noticed on last nights late bulletin on ITV Wales, Ian Lang reported live again from North Wales, its unusual to have a reporter live during the late bulletin, maybe its a new thing?
