Found a TV at 10.29 and was surprised to find News at Ten on time!

Meridian East cocked that opt good and proper.

News at 10.30 looks more promising, as the headlines for once were different from the Evening News, with more serious stories. But there was a regional announcement and a regional insert in the headlines.

Regional headlines at 2230 - Anglia went late so the sound was a bit odd (like they'd crashed) - and they flipped to 16:9 (well 14:9 pillarbox) just for the headline which looked horrid.

The titles seemed darker and more moody - a lot more suited to the programme. Trevor doesnt quite know what angle to look at the faake screen on though.

Presumable cos London Tonight will only be in that studio for less than a month? Not much point revamping.

What was with that incredibly haphazard report on the mydoom virus? Looked like it hadn't even been edited yet and just ended in the middle of an interview...

Is it me... or is it actually happening. But are ITV cutting the reports short in some cases. I noticed the Virus one seemed to end as someone was speaking and Trevor went straight to the sport.

They've got Felcity Barr doing the sport now, in a section called Sport Report.

Plus was I the only one who got sound problems during the report about the MyDoom Virus.

Edit: Very Nightly News, we get a look at the First editions just before 11.00.

Well I'm sorry to say it, but... I'm actually very very pleased with this. And I don't normally say that about anything. I'd change the strap and DOG graphics, but other than that it's very good stuff.

Yes, they were obviously running out of time and so decided to cock-up Chris Choi's report and hope nobody noticed. Very Happy Bet he was pleased.
