I think? its not just me! Its many millions of people in the UK and abroad. Listen to any radio phone ins on the subject and you will see how widespread this view is! Or look at the many sites on the internet and articles from newspapers with his same view.
You seem to be in a minority!

OK, now that my taxi is late...
You seriously believe the BBC is anti-American. OK, people are entitled to their opinions, no matter how stupid and unproven they are. You also seriously believe you hold a majority view. OK, people are also entitled to be delusional. Let's draw a line there - you reckon you and the majority believe the BBC is anti-American. Right.
Now do you seriously believe the Hutton Inquiry set out to punish the BBC for this anti-American policy? Do you believe Andrew Gilligan's reports were a part of this anti-American policy? Do you believe the death of Dr David Kelly was a result of the BBC's hate of Americans? Do you feel Tony Blair is angry at the BBC's anti-American stance?
Becuase THIS, my friend, is what John Gibson told millions of Americans in his editorial. THIS is what I am extremely angry about. And THIS is what YOU are SUPPORTING.
I'm now off.

But is the Internet representitive of the whole voice of opinion of this? No, I didn't think so. These people use the Internet to mislead people into thinking their opinion is widespread in the country.
An example of this is all the anti-licence fee sites, one run by that lover of DOGs, Edmund Wheeler. Another is supported by Jonathan Miller, the Sunday Times columnist, who should be thrown in jail for constant licence fee evation. We also have things like a blog at http://www.biased-bbc.blogspot.com/ nit-picking every single alleged incidence of bias at BBC News, most of which is frankly bullsh*t.
Likewise with newspapers, the most frequent ones that are anti-BBC are the Murdoch owned ones, surely Ste you must see an agenda here? Murdoch wants the BBC out of the way so he can totally rule all forms of media. Same with the Telegraph, owned by right-winger Conrad Black (though thankfully he is f*cked now). The Daily Mail is usually always anti-BBC, but for the moment they have put this to one side, so they can rightly focus their attacks on Blair and Campbell.

Pro-BBC - Yes, most people are, because it is the world's largest broadcaster, one of the best in the world, and does a fair job of representing all views in Britain. Most people admit that the BBC does in places have a "soft" left-leaning biased, but this comes about because of how the organisation exists and stands, and how it is funded. It is no way near as bad as the truely right-wing FOX News.
Anti-Murdoch - Yes, most people, because he represents the low, filithy standards in both broadcast journalism and print journalism. FOX News hide behind their "Fair and Balanced" and "We Report You Decide" slogans. FOX News is simply a mouthpiece for right-wing conservative views, why else is prominence given to Republicans on the channel, why else is a former aide to Nixon, Reagan and the first Bush in charge of FOX News, why else was a former speechwriter for the first Bush the anchor of FOX News Sunday for over 5 years? Personally, I have no idea why people are Pro-Murdoch, apart from those that work for him of course. He represents all that is unfair in truely biased journalism...in fact, I wouldn't call it journalism at all. It is just a platform for people like John Gibson and Bill O`Reilly to get their twisted views out.
Anti-American - No, I don't think most people are. Why do trolls like you, think that if you criticise America, or attack Murdoch or Bush, then you are Anti-American. Rubbish.
Degrading Lord Hutton - Yes, most people are, because the report was a f*cking whitewash! The BBC got the entire book of 800+ pages thrown at it, while the government got off scot-free. That was wrong, their should have been at least some major criticisms of the government...there was none. It cannot be taken seriously.
I do agree with one thing that Howard Dean, one of the presidential candiates said. He would have the Murdoch empire broken up, including FOX News. Of course has has no chance now.

So Stu, why did the only independent analysis of coverage of the war, conclude that the BBC was the Broadcaster most sympathetic to the Governments and thus the Americans view
And how can an organisation, which you percieve as so anti american, launch a channel called BBC America, which has become the fastest growing cable service in the states.
