I should point out that Richard says there are fourteen "official" languages in India. There are fourteen major languages, but only Hindi and English are the official languages.

All official business is conducted in English. That includes politics and finance.

understandable, LBC use SKYnews as a news provider. And Westminster is the heart of London's news today!

Most importantly it enables them to get everyone who is interviewed by Sky at Millbank to appear on LBC too.

Anyone got any screengrabs of Sky News Australia? How do the straps differ to the UK mothership - if they do at all?

Hmm, thanks for the link. Our ozzie cousins have not been sent the school of massive captions that the UK designers were frogmarched to.

I do like the 2 tone 'hiding' red and blue colour scheme on the straps. The straps would have looked better in Frugal Sans though.

On another note I didnt realise until just now that the Sky News Breaking News desktop service featured the "swoosh" sound when news breaks ! Great free download !

(I usually have my pc speakers switched off in the office).

What are Sky News trying to do with that Poll Cam thing???
During a 2 way at 11:56, Martin at the Newswall and a guest at Millbank, it tried to do a swing-round and pull back. The operator, obviously, hasn't got a clue how to use his equipment or else never rehearses his shots. The shot went horribly wrong, I think he hit someone or something! He is seen (in his own shots) on a regular basis, usually looking bored and chatting to people.
Why is this guy?
Is he a Sky cameraman?
Don't they see how bad his work is?
Is there no limit to how bad this get's before they fire the guy?

This is gone beyong a joke, me thinks!
