Wasn't tonight's episode great?? Kurt singing Eminem to Fizz, Les calling Norris "Doris", and Rita finally giving that nasty, nasty woman what she deserves. And God bless Audrey - she said ALL the right things to poor old Rita ("the mad biddy in the sweet shop"). FANTASTIC. Poor Kurt though.

It's actually not the first time Peter and Sally have acted together. She was in an episode of the first series of Phoenix Nights playing someone he thought had been murdered by his DJ. Classic line: "Look at you - all grown up and breathing!" Laughing


That is a really good episode of Phoenix Nights, if you have seen Peter Kay Live at The Bolton Albert Halls you'll notice she is in that too so is the actress who played Geena who get in the same Taxi as Peter Kay, a very funny scene too.

There were some classy moments tonight, I liked Noris' put down to Cilla even more, its about time the balance was addressed. And a great line from Fred too - "I'll say it again, I say, I'll say it again" !!!! Poor Kirk (or is it Kurt) he's got to get back with Fiz.

Indeed that speach Rita gave in the rovers was the biggest showdown there's been in there for ages. I expected those drinks to be thrown over someone though!

Indeed. I rather think it's Cilla who's all fur coat and no knickers actually. Top scene that was, definitely.

I don't think I can stand many more of these Kirk and Les scenes. Neither of them can act and Kirk makes a terrible noise with that bunged up nose of his.

I dont think Kirk and Les are bad actors, obviously they are not Barbara Knox standard but she has been in the show for 30 years and has a lot of experience.

By far the worst is Adam Rickett! Bruno Langley (Todd) is also quite wooden IMO, when he is in a scene with Sarah, Tina O Brien highlights how awful he is.

Actually, I don't think Les is a bad actor at all. I can't stand the guy, so I figure he's doing his job pretty well.

Nothing entertains me more on Corrie than two women having a big blazing row - it's just the sheer, high camp of it all!

No other programme does bitch-fights as well as Corrie... and last night's with Cilla and Rita was an absolute belter!
