The headlines I think will incorporate the regions too

Shhhhhhhh!

Don't tell them that!

If you tell them it's all integrated bulletins, they'll all shout "LIAR" at you!

<wink>

I never doubted you for a moment Nick. I think you should tell me everything you know, just to prove that you're not cantankerous all the time.

Will they just continue the show like a normal news update on the channel?

Watch out for Comment on February 1st, Squarey.

It's provisionally entitled "Cantankerous Corner"!

Does anyone know when the last London Tonight will be broadcast from the London Studios ?.

Maybe with London Tonight coming from ITN, presenters such as Alastair Stewart will back on the national news, maybe weekends?

Might be a red herring, but noticed last night on the Weekend News, they were interviewing a woman inside the ITN building overlooking the newsroom. It appeared that there were some yellowy-gold coloured vertical banners hanging from the ceiling. Along with the over-riding blue colour of the newsroom, it all looked very ITV corporate.

Are you sure that's not the modern art that's been in the atrium for years?

I've noticed when doing interviews out in the atrium recently, how they seem to have painted some of the pillars in the newsroom in the ITV corporate colours.

Would they bother doing this if they weren't going to show the newsroom in the set?

The Foster & Partners site has some interesting pics of very old sets in the ITN building.

Wow, I didn't realise it was as big as that. It is about time time some of this was shown on the ITV News set. I know its shown on the C4 News set, but the tinted glass spoils it.

They used to on the old Early Evening News, the camera used to be pointed up the atrium towards the roof, and then drop down and zoom into John Suchet's little desk in the newsroom.

Oh and of course they made good use of the atrium for the last ITV Election night programme where they built that special set over 2 floors.
