Is the pole-cam back? There have been sweeping shots of the newsroom today, but still looking a bit wonky.

My god where have you been...

Its a device someone wears which has an extendable camera on the end of a pole, which can sweep around and help get a reporter into the thick of the action, from a bit of a distance.

They have been using one for sweeping shots of the newsroom on SKYnews. However it isnt very steady, and has a habbti of wobbling!

I'm sorry, I've not heard of it before! I don't watch Sky News much as I can't stand it.

Anyway it is a jib - according to their website... "A man portable single operator jib arm and camera system"
