It's simply a matter that there's only enough room for 5 analogue channels, the new channels are only broadcast on analogue cable (if that's still going) or the digital services

By the way: I think the United Kingdom is one of the few countries which invests so much in digital TV. Over here, the government hasn't done anyrhing in the digital direction.
