Oh god are you still going on about his voice. I dont see why anyone should have to record their voice or post a picture if they dont want too.

Nine days till it's all over, people

Breakfast Wales brought to you with a smile, Jayne Davies-Case in the mornings. Except in December, Jayne doesn't *do* December [Lucy Cohen has much to learn about diva demands..].

Apart from not paying attention and reading the newspaper [I hope none of our lot were channel directing that morning], and competing with limelight-stealing imperialist invaders [Mr Spider to you and me], Jayne has kept Wales up-to-date till lunchtime throughout 2003.

Quite right too , but why say you're going to do something if you've no intention of so doing ? I reserve the right to keep reminding the bugger .

Because you are in training to become a politician (particularly of the Jean Chretien school of politics).

Erm. That punch and judy rugby club puppet show was perhaps the most surreal thing I have ever seen on HTV. Who on earth thought of it, and who did the voices? Is that where Dilwyn has gone.. Unbelievable.

Meanwhile on the BBC, we are reminded of the community around Tregaron and Cwmbrefi, having their first Christmas with mains electricity [how did they cope with two hours of a generator a day?]. Surely this includes the nearby small, yet *very* famous village of Llanddewi Brefi. It must be hard being the only gay in the village *and* having no electricity for the hair straighteners.

And there have been Christmas trails on S4C~ for a while, I was just so underwhelmed I didn't realise. Little red and white bumpers [like they did for St Davids], featuring trumpets, christmas cake, reindeer, holly etc. I believe *today* we see the back of Wawffactor judging by the special stuff for that I just saw.

Dilwyn -- where *have* you gone?! [Picture courtesy htvwales.com]

And I hope everyone has got my present by now. If not, I'll have a chocolate orange. Ta.

Due to the breaking news yesterday, Christmas Crackers is now one day behind, which is a bit of a bummer, considering they were made to be broadcast on specific days!

*HISSY FIT*

Where's Derek? I *will* not have the weather stolen from me, even if it is by my close relation Sara Edwards [but I don't like to talk about it]. Gremlins in a link with a boring thing in Caerphilly that was far less important than Derek's forecast. Faceless slides with Sara reading is not the same -- all those *mind you*s just don't sound right in her voice and without the stoop.

Oooo, Animal Hospital... I'm over it now.

Plus -- we should end the programme like this every day.

Replace guest with Derek/Bob. Reading the headlines from there was good, and a nice dragon shot for the end.

And -- that chap on BBC ONE Wales now just told me to turn over to 2W to see Sara and her counties, and they were using Outkast over the menu line-up for the evening. Bit modern for the BBC isn't it? This *is* digital tv for Wales though -- it's cutting edge, it's off the wall, and the announcer there is actually funny. But I'm sorry, Eastenders is on.

They also dropped the afternoon local news. I think the whole thing was a bit ott to say the least , It's a horrendous story I know but I can't help feeling that repeating the details over and over as the tv and tabloids are doing may be getting someone ,somewhere a bit excited and giving them ideas. The other side of the "This must never happen again " publicity coin. Sad

I think we can conclude that Dillwyn has left HTV now, apart from the occasional freelance shift on annoucing he hasnt been on HTV in 2003 at all really, Justina has done so much more in 2003 on HTV. I think I know who you are going to pick for 24th - it will probabaly be Wiggy Haines Davies or Derek the camp weather man LOL

I hope you are going to give us a Justina and Sally picture on your calender, we've had an Andrew Jones, who is the worst of the 3 main regular GMTV presenters (OK so Justina isnt a regular GMTV presenter but she is usually first choice to stand in if one of them is off, although last week we got Mr happy all week Rolling Eyes BUT for the first few months of 2003 Justina did a Friday on GMTV IIRC, and Sally did a Thursday I think?)

I saw some of that prog on Monday afternoon, with Wiggy and Becky Wicks, it was good so I taped it yesterday but got the ITV News Channel instead Rolling Eyes I agree with Broadband Cowboy, they do go OTT on the ITV News when something major happens.

Anyway it was great to see Sally back on GMTV bulletins this morning, after a week off! Very Happy Its a shame that after tommorow she will probabaly be gone for until after Xmas as we will no doubt get Andrew Jones next Monday on GMTV bulletins, if they are having them of course since it almost Xmas

If he asks me *one more time* about my close relation Sara Edwards, I'm going to scream..

It's SO vulgar discussing this sort of thing you know.

And hello there young Jez -- to tell you what's still to come on the top quality Wales Thread advent calendar would spoil the surprise, but I could swear you've been on my PC. I won't tolerate such trespassing.

I would have used one of my old caps of Dilwyn in his <out and about> forecasting days, but the quality's not so hot. I miss those forecasts -- say what you want about the bearded one, HTV is *not* the same. The weather is a pale imitation as well, though they do try hard I suppose. Su Evans is fab too, she must stay.

I can't imagine Dilwyn in some other job though, not at all. Though I have a suspicion he was an attendant at a car park I was at the other week. Hmmm..
