What happened to the window/door for the 4th of Decemeber TVD?

Or were you going to opt for an HTV West personality instead due it being the backup for Wales?

Well, indeed. But Ison isn't a secret lurker -- I think he came out and proud a few months back. He can even recognise Welsh people in the street now, but he still wouldn't want to touch one.

And they would be..?

I don't think I was here on the 4th so someone else ate the chocolate that day.
Mind you, perhaps if I was, I could've done one of Jenny "How do they [let her stylist] do that" Hull for the calendar.

And I'm *certain* I saw Nick Harvey taking part in that annual Father Christmas run in Newtown on the news this afternoon. Hmmm.. Can you account for your whereabouts on the 24/12 of each year, sir?

It was *such* important news that the Santa run story also featured on the main ITV Evening News tonight aswell! (must be a light news day - or something)

PS I dont think ITV News realise that they are broadcasting to Wales, Scotland and Ireland as whenever they mention 'that' final and some details concerning the parade they keep mentioning OUR heroes...etc...etc.

Just because it is broadcast from England doesnt mean they have to be English-centric ALL the time - do they?

I was thinking about this recently, and I decided that as England doesn't have its own national broadcaster (ala STV, HTV) it should be allowed to have England-centric reports to a certain extent.

However, "England's heroes parade around London tomorrow and we have live coverage here on ITV1Wales" sounded a bit odd.

Well I think you are missing the point Whataday! England in effect have Granada and Carlton stations (excluding Channel) and so as such those two are the national broadcasters to England!

Its just by default that Carlton also own HTV Wales and as England is larger in population and size it of course must have 'more' news coverage on national news bulletins. BUT the issue was the way they state 'our' heroes 'our' nation etc etc. Some people in Wales still think that Sir Trevor Mcdonald sits in a nice chair in Cardiff to read the ITV News and they dont even realise the difference between regional and national news programmes! The same must also apply to Scotland and Ireland!

Therefore if Huw Edwards on the BBC Six Oclock news started mentioning 'our' on Welsh related national stories im sure the English wouldnt like it!

Its positive discrimination!

Bring back the illegal immigrants!

Well.

I've been out for food and a natter with my showbiz relatives who know *everybody*. We were having a go at that Sian Lloyd for saying she's from Neath when she was just born there, and she's really from Maesteg, like that Kylie Minogue off of the tv.

A-nyway -- guess who's related to Sara Edwards..? Indeed. So now I'll not hear a bad word about her said. And we also have connections with other famous Welsh tv peeps, but we don't like to talk about that, it's *so* crude.

My close relation, Sara Edwards.

Everything Sara does is fab, I'm a huge fan of her work. But not this jacket.

I'm intrigued by this Welsh Advent Calendar you've got going TV Dragon. Thing is, I'm wondering if there are enough Welsh celebrities to go round, might you have to resort to a couple of sheep later on ?

There are plenty, don't you worry yourself there now. Just sit back and marvel at the quality. Oh and that one was a few minutes early, oops.

Even if I do run out, we'd have my close relation Sara Edwards again, but I don't like to talk about it.

This thread hasn't *actually* had any news for weeks now, I've just noticed.

Nah, Nick has been performing a version of Delilah at the Millenium stadium.
