Look North Saturday was presented by John Boyd. Does anyone now why on Saturday John or Dean usually present when Look North have got loads of presenters. For example Tom Ingal and Chalotte Leeming and Danny Savage.
Also what else does John do? He doesn't report for Look North during the week, or I don't think it does?

John Boyd presents the Sport on BBC Radio Leeds and also "Good Morning" every weekday from 9-12 on Radio Leeds.
Look North really haven't got that many presenters. Tom Ingall and Danny Savage are often busy reporting throughout the week and Charlotte is the first choice to cover both Clare and Ian's bulletins as it is. Having someone who know's about sport is a good idea for Look North Saturday as well. When there's fixtures on a Sunday, Peter Levy just reads them out as he won't know whether such and such was a good win or a shock result or whatever and be able to ad-lib.
Talking about Danny Savage I noticed he was reporting live on BBC News 24 this morning
Andrew, I see you hae edited the description to the thread to "New Look North". Isn't there just goinbg to be a sofa replacinf the chairs? Also surely they will need to keep some of the chairs for the guests. Or it is going to be a "Midlands Today" type sofa?

I think John Boyd is after Peter's crown as Woodhouse Lane's most workaholic presenter. 9-12 every weekday, then Nightsport 7-10 on Tuesday and Wednesday and then sport on Sunday afternoons.
Incidentally, why does the BBC building on Woodhouse Lane have two names? It's Broadcasting House on Radio Leeds but Broadcasting Centre on Look North
The Radio Leeds part is in an extension to the old building. They've got two postcodes too; 9PX and 9PN.
Thanks for that, I hadn't realised seperate. I thought the postcode thing was like all of the W12 6XX postcodes that are different programmes based at TV Centre.

Ahhh, but that's slightly different, because the TVC ones are PO Box numbers...
