I can't remember any to be honest. Only this year -- the spider, Jayne Case reading the paper without realising she was on air, and Derek getting his joke wrong -- all on Wales Today. I think the Welsh programmes are just fairly amusing from time to time, but never really get it wrong as such.

And that Donna Lewis song is still always on the radio.

Anyway, something for the weekend in the top quality look-back of the year ~

HTV's *premier* presenting couple, Janathan Heel and Loosy Cowin have gone from strength to strength this year, broadly speaking fighting the propaganda where they can.

Lucy has been practising her nodding technique, as well as meeting Peanut several times, naming a horse and showing Arfon her bric-a-brac. As well as getting engaged, Lucy's highlight this year was dancing with some Estonians.

Jonathan's highlight has to be *that* interview with Ron <I was badger watching honest> Davies. *squirm*

I think we urgently need to start a campaign to make sure this thread stays open, otherwise we'll never get the chance for our three hundred page anniversary.

I see from the sticky thread, at the top of the forum that the BBC News thread, currently only on a TINY 235 pages, is going to be closed on Monday because it's "unwieldy", according to those in charge.

At currently 278 pages, what hope then, is there for THIS thread?

Start the campaign now. Set fire to the moderators' cottages. Chop the cables to their TV aerials.

ACT NOW! This thead is in danger!

No,no, you misunderstand, this is what is known as a subterfuge, the bbc news thread is a load of old b*llocks, as everybody knows, so thats the real reason they're closing it : however they have to give a reason so the unwieldy tag pops up.
The Wales thread will be protected because of devolution and by virtue of being largely free of the sort of crap that passes for posts on the bbc news thread. Don't worry , unless Jez comes back ,of course .

It's true about that BBC News thread, it really is chronic, I admit to being a bit of an anorak myself, but that thread is taking the art to whole new levels.

Anyway, I think this thread should stay as it is, I'd prefer if we kept most of my good Welsh friends confined to the single thread. Many thanks. Wink

Indeed. Someone would need to un-handcuff you from your television which is locked onto to ITV1 Wales 24/7.

Actually I think this bit is the most accurate part, if we're honest. Everybody's happy.

The BBC thread is just spiralling out of control with people writing three word posts -- " TOTH sting there", "Maxine touches her hair, lol", "that aston was a bit quick", "omg, the dog's gone" -- and just loads of things all at once, with excitement getting out of hand.

This place however is legendary for arguments, early morning natters and local things for local people -- we *must* have an occasion for the one year anniversay in a couple of weeks. And it's times like this that the secret lurkers reveal themselves.
