I like the idea but that 1 looks so out of date IMO. I think shrinking the logos a bit would help too.

I've chosen a more old fashioned 1 because I think that ONE as the flagship channel should be a bit more staid and *gasp* "safe" than the others.

Nice ideas Fox, nice backgrounds and colours, it's best to have one '1' on screen though IMHO.

Well, some liked them, some didn't like them and that isn't a good thing

. I changed it a bit and kept the slanted boxes, because I like them (and the original slanted boxes are the most recognized BBC-logo outside the UK). Maybe the problem is that I don't want to use one of those modern fonts which are popular for webdesign, I just can't imagine them on the tv-screen.

I can see what your trying to do with the logos, nostalgic ideas, but the idea of taking a step backwards before the 1997 logo, just seems wrong and unappealing rather than progressing and taking a step forward design wise. Retro isnt my personal taste but others may like the idea, perhaps after some more views, you will get some good comments.
