I wondered when somebody would mention the poster. I'm surprised Katherine hasn't wetted herself getting up to Yorkshire to see it!
Anyways, isn't it a bit sad when the only thing worth watching on the local BBC news is the weather?
Au contraire! I enjoy all aspects of BBC regional news; it combines my two interests of British geography and broadcasting very nicely. It's also handy if you want to know a little bit about what's going on in an area of the UK you're planning to visit for a holiday. When me and my parents visited Ludlow in Shropshire for a few days last year, we saw Midlands Today in the week leading up to the visit.
I may APPEAR to be only interested in Paul Hudson but trust me, I like all the regional programmes the BBC produces. Look North happens to be my favourite.
As well as opting out tonight at 10.35 for the Sports Awards, BBC Y&L are also opting out next Monday as well for a special documentary - Leeds United On Trial.
Tsk, didn't see any of these poster around while I was in Leeds this weekend and I was round the hyde park area too, but I did see lots for 'Cabbage', unfortunately I missed that though. And who was that presenting Look North Saturday? I've never seen him before.
Tonight's Calendar was different in that it was presented by Geoff Druett and Gaynor Barnes, with Frazer Maude on the news round-up and Jason McCartney with the sport. That's a rare appearance from Geoff on the main programme thesedays

Yes odd for both main presenters to be off, especially on a Monday. Perhaps there is an awards ceremony going on somewhere ?
Well done Look North, for scooping another award for the trophy cabinet!

Well done the Woodhouse Lane Massive!! Kudos!
Harry Gration is to collect the award at the ceremony which I believe will be held tomorrow. I think this means we'll be getting Ian White on the 18:30 tomorrow.
