Breakfast weather is being covered by Jo Farrow, who seems to be in Leeds rather than recorded from London

As she's been on all week and is doing morning radio forecasts it seems that shes been drafted in to Leeds for this week.

Meanwhile on Calendar it looks like Faye Barker and Gemma Calleja have swapped shifts this week with each one doing each other's usual bulletins

And looking at Calendar's OB's, the bit during the headlines looks to be recorded but the actual OB looks to be still live

Paul's been off all this week, and Lisa's doing his shift. All the connected placenames she's done have been created by me!

would the email Peter just read out have been from a certain TVF member? Wink

Don't miss Richard Whiteley - Television Man tommorow at 11.30pm on Yorkshire....

An hour-long documentary looking into the life of one of Yorkshire's most enduring TV stars as he approaches 60. The programme, which includes new footage of Richard visiting his first homes in Baildon and reminiscences at Giggleswick School, has a star-studded cast of contributors. Apart from his own inclusion, Richard has no idea who else is taking part in the documentary, which looks at his career from ITN to Calendar and from there to Countdown, which was the first programme broadcast on Channel 4 in 1982.

Although the guest list is being kept secret, the programme will reveal the originator of the "Twice Nightly" title, and Richard will get support for Royal approval of his TV talents from a famous soap star. Other celebs will talk about Richard's hidden love for Abba, the famous Ferret incident, and the time when Richard dared to ask Mrs Thatcher about the fact her late husband Denis had been previously married. Richard also talks about his early days in Baildon, near Bradford, and discovers two neighbours who still live in the street where he first lived in 1943.

I wonder if Christa will be invited back to contribute, or will there still be frostiness from YTV, given how she departed the YTV scene?

How did she depart from YTV? I had a look on the internet but it only seems to have articles about how great it was she joined BBC - obvious propaganda! It was interesting to read about the fact she got the car as well as the sky high wage since the Mercedes SL range costs from £55,000.

A person with taste! Mercedes SL cars are the business!

Christa Ackroyd wasn't all that on Calendar anyway. Christine Talbot is a far superior talent, with the looks, youth, experience and bundles of enthusiasm. Besides, after the BBC poached their "mega star" she promptly lost half of her viewers as the BBC relegated her to Emley only, most Belmont viewers probably think she disappeared off the face of the earth, and probably have never looked back.

Charlotte Leeming did the early shift on Look North today because Clare Frisby and Tom Ingall are Look North Leeds's Children in Need presenters

Notice how it was Harry that handed over to Clare on the main programme not Christa!.

Lisa is getting involved on the CiN OB as well although she was recorded from the normal studio on the Hull version.

Hull didn't seem to have that much of a Children in Need item

You're not wrong there. Is Hull doing anythign special or is it all from Leeds?

Think I might watch Nottingham's opt-outs instead. Now where's that analogue aerial?

On the late bulletin just then Ian was joined in the studio by a load of cheque waving fundraisers who joined him behind the desk, we also crossed over to Clare and Ian on the CiN OB.

Unusual for a late one as well was that Lisa was live in the studio with the weather.

On the Hull version she was still recorded and of course there were no guests in the studio!. Hull shared Leeds's OB with Clare
