Still remember running the two miles from school in Hanwell to home in Ealing to catch it.
The daytime version of The People Versus, although not hosted by a newsreader, aired around the same time - and I liked that too, Bong Game and all (well, not the obviously canned applause that was needlessly added mid-run).
Bear in mind I *was* 13 at the time, and rather more naive than I am now...
Getting back on topic, like just about everyone else here I think Clive's a pretty good choice as John's successor, and -- *beep beep beep* -- I've started, so I'll finish - and I wish him nothing but the best of luck.
