Hi all.

Well... given the news I thought I'd act on a statement I put in my thank you post. So I propose we set out to find TV Forum's all time favourite Gallery thread.

You can choose any design from 20 years of TV Forum, all you have to do is send your vote (preferably with a link) to me as a private message, I'll then compile them and reveal the winner. Considering the time we have left, I'll say the vote closes on Sunday 21st March, with the vote revealed throughout the following week.

Feel free to post any of your honourable mentions in this thread for us to look back at, and I look forward to seeing your votes, mentions and the outcome.

Thanks,
P.A.T.V.

Just make sure to send your actual vote privately... to keep the suspense and that Very Happy

You can always then mix it in with your honourable mentions as long you don’t specify which you’ve voted for.

My honourable mention would have to be this.

Without a doubt for me pip2 is the standout contributer here.

And his BBC1 Globes by far the best design, bringing a classic right up to date with something which truly would have looked so great on TV.

(Unfortunately I think the content has largely been taken down).

The mock regional ITV News set was also superb - although to be honest almost everything they've done was.

Honourable mention to mdta and Bail too.

In my view, the most honourable top contributors to the Gallery over many years would be:
- DTV (Detailed and accurate BBC News studio recreations)
- pip2 (GMB sunbeam titles music mixes, among many other things)
- Bail (Stunning BBC News 24 title recreations)
- PATV Scunthorpe (Very accurate GMB 2017 graphics and titles recreations)
- and many others too, but it wouldn't be fair to list everyone.

Almost everyone who posts in the Gallery ( not including the odd troll in recent times ) puts time and effort into their work, even if the end product isn't the best, and each deserves a pat on the back for making an effort. Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up
TVVT and PATV Scunthorpe gave kudos

One of the first posts i saw in the gallery was this by dubble_bubble_nath asking a 'what if' scenario in a case of a nuclear attack deserves an honorable mention. https://tvforum.uk/mockdesigns/nuclear-attack-mocks-1795

I think the post by MrTomServo in that thread remains my all-time forum favourite. Shame the photos no longer work as they were equally impressive.
