I bet both of these programme are only 20 minutes so that EastEnders can start on time.

Is there some contractual reason specials can't be named 'Reporting Scotland Special'?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Panorama had been chosen to be dropped as it’s about fly tipping so it can be shown at any time.

I hope they don't take the episode and dump it in a rural lay-by with a suspect sofa and rusty old fridge.

The Scotland one shouldn’t be like it usually is which is basically telling us to ignore everything just announced as the first minister has hinted Scotland will follow largely the same structure as England.

Pretty slick handover on the BBC News Channel with Huw neatly closing the simulcast on BBC One at the desk, the long titles played (which I don't think I've seen on screen for about a year) and straight to Tim on the catwalk to pick up the coverage.

Something must have gone wrong. Very Happy

They'd have got double that figure if they hadn't spent the whole day broadcasting plot spoilers

The channel is called "BBC News". Why do they insist on writing and saying "channel" after it? It seems odd.
People don't say "Sky News channel"...

Well obviously in this case to distinguish it from the BBC One broadcast as that programme is also branded ‘BBC News’. It’s not a problem have Sky have.

It didn't get 15.8m viewers in the usual BARB way of measuring viewers, it was about 9m on BBC One. That must be overall reach or something.
