I wonder if we are still to get more details about CNN International or if today's was the 'in other cities' announcement mentioned with the previous changes.

Mediaite has an interview with Jeff Zucker and Alisyn Camerota: https://www.mediaite.com/tv/exclusive-alisyn-camerota-and-jeff-zucker-give-inside-scoop-on-big-cnn-lineup-moves/

The article mentions how Camerota 'helped launch' New Day - which wasn't the case? Cuomo, Bouldan and Pereira launched the show - Alisyn joined after. Zucker also says that Keilar moving to the morning show does not mean like other cable news networks morning and primetime will be 'opinion' with dayside being 'news' but we shall see.

He also spoke about diversity: https://www.mediaite.com/tv/jeff-zucker-talks-diversity-of-new-cnn-lineup-we-are-committed-to-making-sure-that-we-also-look-like-america/

For all the attention seeking and stunts he pulled, you would expect Acosta to get something better as reward. A weekend afternoon slot was probably not on his mind. FOX gave their WH reporter, former CNNer John Roberts a weekday afternoon slot. But then again, Roberts managed to keep his dignity as well.

Judging by the timing between announcements, I would give it at least 2-3 more weeks before we get London/CNNI-related announcements.

Yeah, I was surprised Acosta was not given one of the prominent newscasts, even during the weekends.

Not stunned at all but Zucker's open admiration for Camerota - she's one of the best. More shocked he didn't care to mention the loss of Baldwin from the network. Also shocked Acosta will only get a Newsroom anchor role, then again, maybe it's a game play - he' still young, worked and made a name for himself during the #45 era....

Cannot believe Boris Sanchez is now a co-anchor of New Day Weekend. That's a shocker of a decision. I like Sanchez, but a 7 hours a weekend.....c'mon. Undeserved IMO of course.

Camerota’s move to 2-4pm ET also takes her off International, so she loses a good chunk of her audience. Probably not a huge factor for her, but feeds into the narrative that this move has been seen as a demotion.

I think that’s a little unfair. John Roberts has a record as an anchor - at CTV, CBS and CNN - before returning to a correspondent role at Fox. Notwithstanding his efforts, I’m not sure Jim Acosta warrants an anchor role. And it isn’t a given that a WH correspondent slides in behind the anchor desk.

Reading about it is one thing -- but I need to see the on air chemistry... or lack thereof.

OMG advertisings just started right in a conversation during Outfront @CNNI. Then after 15 seconds, back to Outfront.
Then after 10 seconds Outfront suddenly another CNN intro started. Then back to Outfront again.
Then a new advertising again, And after 15 seconds back to Outfront!
What a complete mess! Zipper Shocked Rolling Eyes

Well that stops all the speculation that she has been forced out of New Day, she wanted out a year ago.

John Roberts started off at MuchMusic/CityTv not CTV, just to clarify
