Digging getting up early = refers to mining corporation for red dwarf.
Always working in green= Starbug in Red dwarf. Green.

Spanners- refers to one of his nicknames in red dwarf.

DRAGON= JOHN BARROWMAN .(Actor,singer, stage shows, presenter)

American accent but scottish.
Big clue regarding Dragon is "Torchwood". he was Capt Jack.
His multicolour on the dragon refers to Joseph and the TECHNICOLOUR DREAMCOAT. (Any dream will do reality show).
His partner name is Scott.
Big clue when "I'll try anything" he was in.
"Tonight" refers to the show he was on tonight ,tonight.
Smoke clues refer to Fireman Sam and Torchwood.
"I am" the dragon, refers to the song i am what i am which he has once sang.

(that said, I do like your workings out on Badger being Craig Charles)

John Barrowman according to some, was in pretty much every costume last series - so no surprise to see his name turn up for at least one character for this as well.

The voice sounded a fair bit like him too, though it became quite clear it wasn't him as more clues came in and they didn't fit.

We know three of them guess Sophie Ellis-Bexter in week one and that wasn’t shown. So it’s safe to say they’re avoiding the correct answer deliberately.
