Does anyone know why the trundle camera isn’t used when they’re in studio C with the newsroom backdrop?
WO
Because the trundle cam is linked only with the studio E gallery and the recorded shots were produced in 2013, pre-Covid?

That appears to be the case having watched a handful of clips on YouTube. The intro to the News at 5 was definitely pre-recorded.

Yep, it was always quite amusing watching Media Boy weave his way round the network desk in the same clothes every day at the 5:30 BOTH.

Figured out that some versions of BBC World Service use a intro without placenames
So maybe this year they will take the effort of updating them using reith instead of Gill Sans, since it doesn´t look complicated to be redone (hopefully they also change the last shot before the globe formes at the end which is badly rendered since 2013 on BBC World News / BBC News Channel overnight version for some reason).
