According to the schedule on CNN's website, Isa Soares is anchoring the 8-10am GMT CNN Newsroom block all this week.

Yes and Paula Newton is doing the 6-8 CET slot. Hala anchored from her home set , not from CNN London. I wonder where will Isa be?

As per checking in CNN USA's schedule, looks like January 5-6 will be all US Politics again with the Georgia state runoff and US Senate certification drama. I expect CNN International will simulcast those again.

I wouldn't be surprised based on the amount of early and mail voting that the Georgia races take a bit of time and not get decided for a few days. There's also going to be the ludicrous situation of Republicans challenging the Electoral College results in some states and based on the rules that will most likely drag on all day and night so we may have a situation where CNN have to balance Electoral College drama and Georgia coverage whenever some votes come in.

As indeed they should.

I really wish CNN International could air some of CNN Originals' programming library, or at least let them be acquired by HBO or HBO-affiliated movie channel.

Here in Southeast Asia, I only see two CNN Original shows that were acquired by Pay TV broadcasters:
Parts Unknown - aired on Discovery Channel and BBC Earth
The Movies - aired on Fox Movies

Personally, I'd prefer CNNI to focus it's efforts on its news output rather than shows that would be at home on the History or Discovery channels.

Poor Larry, his health has already been appalling over the years.

He suffered a massive heart attack back in 1987. Had had quintuple heart bypass surgery and continues to have chronic heart disease.

Larry is also a Type 2 diabetic.

In 2017 he discovered that he had a tumour on his lung and had surgery to remove it, and then in 2019 he had angioplasty and stents surgery on his heart.

And then in November 2019 he had a stroke and was in a coma for a number of weeks.

So, he is most certainly in a very dangerous time of his life, now he has contracted Covid-19.
