When did you last watch a Fox owned affiliate? They're NOTHING like Fox News. There's zero Conservative bias in their reporting of the election. It's like watching NBC News over MSNBC.
Fox owned affiliates tend to want to compete on a equal level editorially with the other non-biased stations in their local markets, rather than be a satellite feed of propaganda like FNC.
There's your factual error for someone who claims to watch a shed load of US media in deepest Cornwall.
I keep an eye on several Fox affiliates and local stations, watching various reports and programmes from time to time. Several years ago, when he was still at Fox, Roger Ailes was appointed to lead the local stations group, whilst still being the head of Fox News Channel and ever since then, Fox News Channel has supplied the local Fox affiliates with stories and occasionally reports as well. Fox News Channel would also provide breaking news coverage as well. The bias was clear there. Also, many local Fox stations do take a more Conservative slant on news selection, it's not as severe as Fox News Channel, but again, it does move the needle.
Also, you don't help your case by talking about "deepest Cornwall" like it's in some forgotten part of Africa. Cornwall is not a backwater, despite what some on the right would like it to be.
You'll find I'm not on the right or the left. Considering you couldn't even programme a community radio show, filling it with James Bond, I find it hard to take your monitoring with a pinch of salt.

Fox affiliates and Sinclair owned stations, are two examples of a Conservative bias infecting local news. You have to be careful who you trust when it comes to local news.
